Abstract
The « relational » interpretation of quantum mechanics is the youngest among the attempts to have a fully coherent conceptual scheme to make sense of quantum theory. It is very close to the textbook « Copenhagen » formulation, but it takes rejects any a priori distinction between classical and quantum objects and therefore takes the relational aspects of the formalism to their natural but radical’logical consequence : states and events of a physical system’are only relative to other physical systems. I will illustrate the basic ideas of the view of quantum theory, and its applications to EPR and cosmology.
